Remembrance Day |
||
|
On Sunday 9th November, officers from our local policing team were proud to support two important Remembrance events within Wandsworth. Our team attended the parades at St Mary's Church in Putney and St Mary's Church in Battersea for the Remembrance parades. The rest of the team were on hand to support the smooth running of the event and to help ensure the safety of everyone attending.
This morning, our team attended the service which was held in Battersea Park. We joined service personnel, Wandsworth councillors, the MP, the Mayor and local residents.
Superintendent Rajan and PCSO Warrell laid the wreath on behalf of Wandsworth police, paying tribute to those who have served.
We would like to thank all who took part and those who came along to pay their respects. It was a privilege to stand alongside the community in remembrance. | ||
